Crimsonwood is now hiring for our 2025 production of The Séance Experience—a high-end, story-driven haunted attraction in Edmonton. We're assembling a team of performers, builders, and creatives to help bring our dark vision to life. Whether you conjure spirits, craft cursed spaces, or spread the word from the shadows, we want to hear from you. All positions are paid. Applicants must be professional, punctual, and comfortable working in a horror-themed environment.

MARKETING MANAGER

Role Type: Marketing (Part time)
Location: Remote & Onsite
Term: September through October

Description:
We are seeking a strategic and imaginative Marketing Manager to help summon willing victims to the seance. You’ll lead the charge on digital marketing, social media, and promotional outreach—crafting engaging content, planning campaigns, and building local hype for this immersive haunted attraction.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management
Strong networking / interpersonal skills
Familiar with horror or themed entertainment a plus
Bonus: photography/video skills or content creation background
Must be highly self-directed

IMPROV ACTORS

Role Type: Actor (Full time / Part time)
Location: Edmonton, AB
Term: Late September to Late October (Rehearsals + Performance Run)

We are summoning confident, compelling performers to bring our séance experience to life. You will guide groups of guests through a fully immersive, story-driven theatrical experience. This is a solo performance role that requires exceptional memorization, emotional range, and the ability to maintain intensity and character over multiple performances per night.

Qualifications:

Strong acting or immersive theatre background (horror or improv experience a plus)
Comfortable performing alone for small audiences (6 guests per show)
Strong memorization and timing skills
Ability to deliver lines with emotional depth and urgency
Calm under pressure and able to adapt to live audience energy
Must be available for all rehearsals,

SET BUILDERS

Constructor of Nightmares

Role Type: Carpenter / Builder (Part time)
Location: Edmonton, AB
Term: Mid-September
(Evenings and/or weekends)

We’re in need of some skilled buildersto help fabricate our parlor set. As a Set Builder you’ll assist in constructing modular wall systems, scenic elements, and immersive set pieces that transport guests into our storyworld. This is a hands-on role ideal for creative builders who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications:

Experience in carpentry, scenic construction, set building, or general fabrication
Able to work with common tools and materials (wood, fasteners, adhesives, paint, power tools etc)
Comfortable working in a team environment with shifting priorities
Ability to follow design drawings and improvise solutions onsite
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Must be available for build period (Mid-September weekends)
